Are you ready for another part of my photo series taken at the Astra Museum situated in Sibiu, Romania? Let's go back in time and see what life was like once.
A cute pise house covered with straw, which most likely has one or two rooms and a storage room in the right side. Look at those tiny windows. It was dark in the house and lighting was done by using petroleum, which wasn't cheap.
Another house made of wood, must have been of someone well off. The house is way bigger than the other ones and that wooden fence is very stylish. Makes me think this might have been a bigger homestead.
A watermill with two millstones.
This on the other hand is a hand mill with belt drive, according to the label.
An old fire truck :) At that time almost everything was made of wood, fires must have been pretty frequent. I'm not sure how efficient this fire truck was but there was no other option.
A steam tractor, the cutest vehicle I've seen here.
