Roaming Blogger Discovers the Paper Tree Resort in San Narciso, Zambales

Discovering places will always be one of the most exciting and interesting part of being alive. Being able to witness the beauty, and at the same time enjoying the moment of fun always makes me happier. Ready for an amazing weekend experience? Here's another adventure story from your roaming blogger, @charmingcherry.

Paper Tree Resort is located in the town of San Narciso in the province of Zambales. And during summer, the place becomes popular even to people from different cities and provinces. If you are trying to picture it out, it is not the typical resort with a swimming pool or near the beach area. This one is a resort in a river.

To get here, you must have your own car since it will take you a few minutes of ride from the town proper. I came here with my supervisors at my On-the-Job Training, and we arrived early which is a good thing since we could choose the best spot.

As you can see in the photo uploaded above, it is just a simple resort in the middle of nowhere. The fence was made of bamboos, and only have to stay in a nipa hut. When we already parked the cars, we finally entered the resort and I was mesmerized by its surrounding that made us appreciate nature. There are spots where trees are planted, plus the water in the river is crystal clear even with the presence of the floating cottages.

In the cottage we chose, I saw my supervisors preparing the foods that we are about to cook. We started setting up the grilling station for the fish and meats, plus organized our table. It was a busy moment to everyone, since we decided to prepare everything before we start enjoying the moment. We cannot set aside our tummies for this one.

After a tiring cooking session, I finally grabbed the chance to roam around the resort and check out why people are getting hooked in the place. Some even described it as a paradise. So, let’s take a look if it’s really a paradise.

I started walking in the floating bamboo that serves as a way going to other cottages. The first thing that I have observed is the crystal clear water. The owner really maintained this place very well, which is a good thing.

As I got in the other side, I saw more cottages made of bamboos, and most of them were floating in the water. I found it amusing since it takes effort and sweat to build something like that. Now, I can finally say that it is indeed a paradise!

It was a tiring walk for me, plus it's really a hot sunny day. Because of that, I think I deserve a good plate of meal for lunch. I went back to our spot, and it's finally time for the feast. We were already gathered to share and eat the foods we brought and cooked. Of course, I will never forget my rice. We have prepared some viands like grilled fish and pork, chicken, and more. After getting my portion of food, I already sat down and started eating.

After eating, it’s finally swimming time! We went to the water quickly to freshen up the vibe. The water was cold at the first jump, but it eventually cooled down after a few minutes of staying in the water. Since my supervisors also brought their kids with us, we were only able to swim in the spot where the kids are allowed to also watch over them.

And I think that wraps this weekend experience up. It’s really great to spend moments like these with you co-workers to at least escape from the stressful workloads and pressure at the office. Since the only rest days we have is Saturday and Sunday, this is the right moment to relax and enjoy. We had so much fun. But, how can I forget a few shots of myself? Below is your charming blogger who does not stop exploring the world and writing about them!
