A potion of good food changes everything. That's how I have always seen it. Aside from the satisfied taste buds, I can feel how it transforms me into a happy human being after hunger turned me into monster. Sounds like a great way to change a negative ambiance to a positive one! And nothing comes bad from a good food.
Following a lot of people on social media recently made me realize they are all falling in love with beaches and sunsets, plus with something to eat and drink with them. I have seen a lot of posts and stories about their quick getaways and foodtrips, and it triggered my desire to taste some of the streetfoods along the coastal road of San Miguel Beach. Hmmmm, and I won't let this slide without sharing a blog.

Have you tried planning to go somewhere without thinking what food to bring or buy? And everything becomes perfect when you do not overplan a trip. This is what happened right here, when we decided to go to the beach without having a solid idea on how we'll spend hours of our time. The closest beach in town is located in San Miguel, and I think I already shared in my previous blogs how it became popular. The coastal road has a lot to offer now, especially streetfoods.
When we got there, we already saw people around. Some were busy taking pictures, watching the waves, and some were also trying to fill their tummies with the available streetfoods in the area. And since we're already here, it's time to walk around and try the foods too!

The first stall we visited was selling rice meals, and I loved the fact that they were cooking the food in front of you. We ordered two sets, and we only watched them cooking for a few minutes before we decided to walk towards other stalls to check what they offer.

Since we were with the kids, we had to look for a food that they will enjoy. And luckily, there is someone who sells cheesy fries which is my nephew's favorite. I bought him the largest one with drinks. And just beside the stall, there's a vendor selling some pastries. We also wanted to try their "Chocolate Siopao".

After buying everything we need, we started walking towards the seashore. People are starting to come over so we had to look for not-so-crowded place. When we already found a good spot, we sat down and started the feast.

I grabbed the rice meals that we bought, and I did not regret trying it. It was worth its price, plus I felt curious on the recipe they used on their fried rice. Every bit of it was delicious and tasty.

While eating my food, I was watching my nephew enjoying his flavored fries as he was too busy looking at the ocean. Hmmm, I felt like he wanted to have a swim. I like seeing him enjoying the foods I bought for him.
It was just a normal beach day for us, and we only wanted to eat and watch the sunset. A simple yet full of fun day.
