A Buffet-Style Korean Samgyeopsal in San Narciso, Zambales

We used to hear the phrase "a way to a man's heart is through his stomach". Have you ever wonder how does a good portion of food lift our mood that easily? From being sad to being happy. From feeling down to feeling energetic. And I can relate with every rants and posts about emptied wallets because of eating a lot. I may not spoil myself through material things, but I make sure that satisfying my tastebuds is on top of my list.

Do you love Korea foods? Some of you may be craving for the famous "samgyeopsal", which now became my comfort food. I think I cannot pass through a month without visiting a Korean restaurant. Here's another proof of how I enjoy eating and eating, especially when it comes to grilled porks.

My Facebook friends have been posting and talking about a particular Korean Samgyeopsal from a neighboring town. I did not hesitate to check out their social media page to see if everything I have read were true. And yes, there is a buffet-style right next to our town. It's time to grab my ass and try it out!

I asked a few pals if they want to try it too, and I got "YES" as an answer. We drove for a few minutes before we found ourselves looking for a table. Since there are a lot of people coming in, we prioritized finding a spot where we can eat. And some of my friends went to the counter to order the unlimited deal. Of course, we should take advantage of this opportunity of eating all we can.

When we got the signal that everything is set up, we went to the buffet table and grabbed the side dishes, drinks, and marinated porks that we want. It was quite tiring since we had to go back and forth to fill up our table.

First, we took some marinated porks and put them on the table for cooking. Some of my pals were busy cooking the porks while we were grabbing more side dishes. Of course, I did not forget the cheese for this feast. It's a very important dip when eating samgyeopsal.

At last, we finished grabbing more and more side dishes. We sat down and started giving out the utensils, drinks, and the requested side dish of each of us. Some wanted the kimchi, and some asked for potato marbles too.

As soon as the first set of pork were cooked, we already started being quiet and you’ll only hear the sound of chopsticks and grilling. Kidding aside, we were all hungry and it was a satisfying moment to each of us. We started to talk about things – the random topics made us forget that we almost emptied the plate of cooked pork.

We had to make a vote if we were going to grab more pork or not anymore, but the majority of us asked for more, of course. Then, we went to get additional marinated pork. In terms of side dishes, everything were enough to last the whole time.

CONCLUSION
Most of time, we find comfort in foods. And I did not see myself getting this hooked to Korean Samgyeopsal, but here I am. This is my first time visiting a restaurant in buffet-style and I was too overwhelmed by how many kinds of food I can choose from. Definitely a worth it try, and I will surely keep going back. Every bit of side dishes and how they marinated the pork met my expectations, despite having an affordable price.
