I am automatically drawn to check out a restaurant with the word FAMILY in the name. It tends to be more laid back and reasonally priced. This find was no exception. Paul's is a place you can take the family, get a good meal in pleasant atmosphere and not break the bank to do so. Here are a couple of shots of the interior:
This display looks like something from an old fashioned dress making shop.
The menu had a wide variety of comfort foods plus daily specials.
With four pages to the menu, including a children's menu and a Weight Watchers section, there is something here for everyone.
I chose one of the specials of the day, home style meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy and a side of peas. Hot rolls were served first.
That was a bigger portion than I could finish so it didn't leave room to try any of their delicious looking desserts.
Even if I would have had room for dessert, I would have had a really hard time choosing just one.
Our total bill for two complete meals and drinks was $21.52, which is a very reasonable price. I will put this restaurant on my list of places to come back too.
