What's the show about?

The show follows the lives of coaches and players for East Mississippi Community College (EMCC). EMCC is a school that students who are failing out of division one colleges go to as a place holder until they can get their shit together. It's also a place for students with no chance of getting into division one colleges seen by important scouts. The show has the entire team but mainly focuses on a few key people.

The team is followed by camera men while they try to obtain their 3rd consecutive national college championship. Things get a little rocky when a brawl breaks out on the field (justifiably).

My review of the show?

I personally thought this was a phenomenal show. I'm a huge football fan and this show is 50% highlights. My favorite part would be the fact that you get to see potential NFL stars in the making! The show features extremely good leadership by the captains & an all around brotherhood of a team. Brittany Wagner the academic adviser is a character you will instantly like. The compassion she shows these football players is amazing, you can tell she truly loves what she does. The coach is quite the hot head and I'd rather see the secondary coach do the job, but they win so much he must know what he is doing! I would personally recommend this show to any football fan.

How many stars?

I would give this show 5 out of 5 stars. The way the director took what could be just an hour long documentary and turn it into a full season of TV is awesome!
