I had a revelation today. I was led to tell my wife one line. It was a line that I just had to tell her right then and there. And that line was... Be prepared for change.
Change is eminent. I can feel it. I can sense it. I know that there is going to be a shift happening in our lives... soon. God has plans for us that are beyond what I can imagine. His ways are not our ways.
I feel very at peace tonight, but also I'm feeling led to share and be open with you all. You guys, my friends here on Steem, see a side of me that I don't display on other social networks. I feel safe and loved here, so I am more open to sharing deep thoughts at certain times.
Be prepared for change. That is what is on my mind tonight as I sit in my home in silence and in complete peace. I'm not worried or scared of the future. Far from it. I'm excited for the opportunities that are coming.
It's amazing to feel as if your steps are being led by God and that He is directing your life. I believe that 100%. Be prepared for change. That is what is on my mind tonight. Change is coming and in good timing.
Everything happens for a reason. I fully believe that. I ran into a good friend of mine at the gym today whom I hadn't seen in a couple years because he was in the hospital fighting cancer. He was victorious over it, and he told me a great story.
He said Ken, I never asked "why me" during the trial because I knew why God had allowed me to experience it. He said it was to witness to people in the hospital about his faith. Long story short, he prayed with a woman who's brother-in-law was in severe pain in the hospital.
After praying together with this woman, 5 minutes later they received a call that he was healed. No more pain. Not only that, but he accepted Christ a week later. A week later after that, he passed away.
You see, God uses trials for a purpose. We go through things that we might not expect to go through, but those situations can be turned around and used for something good. Be prepared for change.
Be prepared for change. I am looking forward to change in me and my family's life. I am ready. I am prepared. I am ready for the next level, and I am certain that it involves a move of some sort. Moving away from our 800 sq. ft. home and into a different one. A larger one. One that we can raise a family in. The only variable in the equation is... where will this place be located.
That is the question that we'll need to wait and see what is revealed to us. I know that between now and next summer is when the magic will happen. Right now we are in a season of change. I am embracing this change before it even happens.
I don't know who is going to read this. But if that is you, thank you for being part of my journey. Thank you for being part of my life. The rest of 2019 is going to be amazing. All of our needs are going to be provided for, just like they always have been in the past.
