On December 11 Trump signed an executive order declaring that federal funding will be withheld from any college which continues to allow 'anti-semetism' on its campuses. Sound great, right? Except the adopted definition actually defines antisemitism as essentially including any criticism of the state of Israel or speaking about any so-called Jewish conspiracy to control world events or even Jewish control of banking or media institutions!
“As president, I will always celebrate and honor the Jewish people, and I will always stand with our treasured friend and ally, the State of Israel," he said at the event.
And that is what this is all about, cracking down on free speech in a push to ban any criticism of the state of Israel for any reason. They want the BDS (Boycott, Divest and Sanction Israel) movement on college campuses to die, and is in my opinion the true target of this move.
The mantra of this ongoing ultra-Zionist anti-free speech campaign is: "Anti-Zionism is Antisemitism." But nothing could be further from the truth, as Jake Morphonios of Blackstone Intelligence explains in his short video examining this crazy news and its implications for Americans and our freedoms.
This adopted "working definition" of Antisemitism defines the following as 'antisemetic':
-Manifestations might include the targeting of the state of Israel, conceived as a Jewish collectivity.
Since they call Israel a Jewish state, of course it will easily enough be claimed that any criticism leveled against the state of Israel was directed at "Jewish collectivity."
- Making mendacious, dehumanizing, demonizing, or stereotypical allegations about Jews as such or the power of Jews as collective — such as, especially but not exclusively, the myth about a world Jewish conspiracy or of Jews controlling the media, economy, government or other societal institutions.
Doesn't matter if powerful Jews do happen to be in control of those institutions, they don't want us pointing that out!
-Accusing Jewish citizens of being more loyal to Israel, or to the alleged priorities of Jews worldwide, than to the interests of their own nations
"Jewish citizens" as if religious or racial roots is a nationality! Never mind that many US congressmen do appear to have more loyalty to Israel than to America, particularly Trump himself, and if they are "Jewish citizens," it is antisemitic to point that out, even if such dual loyalty might not actually serve the best interests of America or any other country in which the same dual loyalty is found or percieved.
-Using the symbols and images associated with classic antisemitism (e.g., claims of Jews killing Jesus or blood libel) to characterize Israel or Israelis.
So those who accuse Jews of killing Jesus, despite the Jewish Talmud explicitly claiming they did, and proudly taking responsibility for doing so, are 'antisemitic'!
And of course, denying the holocaust, which I am not here doing by the way, is also considered among this list. I do, however, think people have the right to voice their opinion on the matter if indeed they believe there was no holocaust, or if they just happen to believe there were less than the claimed 6 million Jews killed in that holocaust. It is their right to speak their mind. lt is not violent or hateful to do so, particularly if they bring forth evidence to support their position. It is the very foundation of free speech, to allow the speech of even those we disagree with!
But Trump's new Executive Order now seeks to punish universities, essentially blackmailing them out of federal funds if they "allow" any of these so-called antisemitic topics to be discussed! It is a straight up assault on free speech, and clear and obvious shilling for the state of Israel. Which of course is nothing new for 'Make America [Israel] Great Again' Donald [Trump Heights] Trump.
Much more can be said on the topic, and this has been a long time coming, and they do seek a complete ban on all such speech, but for now this is a large step in that direction. For lack of time, I will simply include Adam Green's news report on the issue which gets much more in depth on the subject. From my point of view this is nothing but a straight up assault on free speech, by creating a special 'protected' class of people who cannot be criticized for any reason, namely the Jews, and especially to curb criticism of the Zionist state of Israel and its war crimes.
