Good evening photography world and Hive Family, well let's give it a shot, I've been meaning to join a few photography contests, and this one peaked my interest. So let's do this first time contest and entry into the Qurator's Photo Quest on Toy's. Now I've been into to toy collecting for years since I was young, and it ranges from Hotwheels, Action figures etc, and the list goes on. Now Adult toys such as the Remote control cars, its been along time as well and I have had over thirty different ones but I have been selling some off, probably down to like twenty now. From cheapest to most expensive, I've probably owned or still do every best one out there on the market. Electric ones, never been a fan of gas powered. This hobby is so fun but in all honesty it definitely is a money pit too. So many things break on these the more you push it and I for one definitely push it to the max. Now out of all of them though this one right here is my favorite hands down. So these shot's are of when I bought the first one I had, after beating it up so much and fixing it, I decided to buy the EXB, which means Extreme Bash but its just a roller. No electronics included. I ended up putting all the electronics from the other into this new one. Now the EXB comes with a black body, no red in it but that is saved, I still used the red old body. I also had taken over three hours to line the inside of the body with dry wall tape and glue. What this does is make the body last way longer, yes it adds a little weight but was still a must. That body today is still being used, a little banged up and scratched but it last way longer and saves you money in the long run. Also EXB comes with more durable parts as well, well worth the money spent. I might just post some others for fun, I took photo's of all of them when I got them new, so they are clean shot's.
So here are some shot's of an Arrma Mojave EXB 6s 4 wheel drive and this one is a 1/7th scale. Which is pretty big but 1/5th is a bit bigger. This one right here was $699 new and the EXB roller I paid $600 for just the roller. Yeah pretty expensive but worth all the fun. Been into these since I was a kid but never had a real expensive one, so I bought thirty of them. haha. I had a buggy that was that big, I paid $1.4k for that one but have sold it recently for $1k used. I take care of them, so the resell is pretty good. I have two of these now, one newer and one where I made the tires stick out way more using a different set of A arms, that one is so cool but it is the non EXB and I have definitely banged that one around a lot. Regardless these are so much fun and just remember a lot of money to put into them if you trash them around. Anyways this is my contest post, so I hope you enjoyed a different kind of toy. Thanks for stopping by my blog and post, have a blessed one.
Just a side note, yes I took these shot's while controlling the RC truck too, not an easy task. haha
Anyways appreciate everyone feedback hope you have enjoyed my shots and post today' thanks for stopping by, Have a blessed one and thank you for coming in and checking out my shot's of the day. Stay tuned and enjoy my future shots in the world of photography, thru my lens.
