Hello dear community, I was able to start and finish this painting I've been holding off ever since I saw the announcement post. Its my idea for the @holozing contest and the whole creation process was really fun.
I started mine with a sketch I shared here a few days go but i made little adjustments and also added new stuff. I then added base colours to her skin, hair and clothes, I erased the jacket a lot because I didn't like how it looked initially.
I thought that adding a horn will be a very nice idea so I painted that after I was done with her facial features. I see lots of anime art and I really love their hair and eyes, it pops a lot so I decided to do a bun hairstyle with some shoulder length bangs by the sides.
I turned off the sketch layer and started with the rendering process, adding lighter and darker highlights to her clothes and skin. I painted details to her horn and necklace, the added some gems around her necklace and started adding tiny leaves on the horn.
I finished adding more leaves, then worked on her hair, painting more colours and strands where necessary. I then worked on her earring, painted more glow around her skin and hair.
Finally I chose a background for her. She's a forest fairy so I added some butterflies, trees, leaves and flowers. That's all for now, I hope you love her...
