Inspiration: Crocus sativus}

Crocus sativus is a very beautiful, brightly colored plant with multi-functional properties and it is commonly known as Saffron.

Saffron service to humanity began more than 1400 BC to date, it was and still is used as a seasoning, very famous for its coloring properties.

It also makes its appearance in perfumery and ancient medicine.

For this execution, the paint has been contaminated with acrylic gold pigment; just like gold's, Saffron "extraction" is expensive.

Crocus sativus, is NOT to be confused with Colchicum, they look similar, they are both beautiful, but the latter is toxic.
