We need scissors, glue, and colored paper. I'm using green, blue-green, light green, pink, yellow, and violet.
First, cut the green paper down to 4.5 x 11 inches, the blue-green paper to 4 x 5.8 inches, and the other colored papers to 3 x 11 inches. Cut strips into the yellow, violet, pink, and light green papers; do not cut all the way down. Leave at least an inch of paper uncut like in the picture above.
Now, take the green paper and roll it to make a stem, gluing it closed (left). Afterward, cut the blue-green paper like above (right).
Curl the leaves a bit (left). Take the stem and roll one of the colored strip papers onto it (right).
Roll it on completely (right). Wrap the blue-green paper around the base of the paper flower.
