Programa Atención al Atleta

Estimados Hivers y lectores de SWC. Comparto con ustedes lo que aconteció, en la Street Workout Duals Battles - 2° Edición, en relación al Programa Atención al Atleta. El pasado 11 de junio de 2023 se llevó a cabo esta competencia, en los espacios de la Plaza Central del Centro Comercial Parque Los Aviadores, ubicado en Palo Negro, muy cerca de la ciudad de Maracay, estado Aragua. En esta ocasión contamos con dos Fisioterapeutas que brindaron atención, en tiempo real, a cada uno de los atletas. En esta ocasión los atletas antes de iniciar la competencia realizaron la fase de estiramiento y calentamiento en 2 momentos, el primero fue con la participación de 2 de los jueces (@cubillos.s-w y @yanquen-swc) y el segundo momento estuvo a cargo de los Fisioterapeutas. Esta fase se realiza con la finalidad de evitar lesiones. Hubo atención previa a algunos atletas que lo solicitaron. Previa valoración funcional a cada atleta, por parte de los Fisioterapeutas, se procedió a prestar la atención requerida. Como norma establecida, cada atleta fue atendido inmediatamente después de su participación para luego de la valoración funcional, brindar atención. Dependiendo de la zona afectada y de la tensión muscular a los atletas se le aplicó electroterapia, masajes, liberación miofascial y vendaje neuromuscular. Estas terapias tienen como objeto disminuir la tensión del músculo, activar la circulación y la elasticidad del tejido muscular. Desde el Programa Atención al Atleta brindamos atención a los atletas antes, durante y después de cada evento.

Dear Hivers and SWC readers. I share with you what happened, in the Street Workout Duals Battles - 2nd Edition, in relation to the Athlete Care Program. This competition was held on June 11, 2023, in the spaces of Parque Los Aviadores Shopping Center, located in Palo Negro, very close to Maracay city, Aragua state. On this occasion we had two Physiotherapists who provided care, in real time, to each of the athletes. On this occasion, before starting the competition, the athletes carried out the stretching and warm-up phase in 2 moments, the first one was with the participation of 2 of the judges (@cubillos.s-w and @yanquen-swc) and the second moment was in charge of the Physiotherapists. This phase is carried out in order to avoid injuries. There was previous attention to some athletes who requested it. After functional assessment of each athlete, by the Physiotherapists, the required care was provided. As an established norm, each athlete was attended immediately after their participation to provide care after the functional assessment. Depending on the affected area and muscle tension, the athletes received electrotherapy, massages, myofascial release, and neuromuscular bandaging. These therapies are intended to reduce muscle tension, activate circulation and elasticity of muscle tissue. From the Athlete Care Program we provide care to athletes before, during and after each event.

El Programa Atención al Atleta en SWC comenzó a partir del mes de mayo de 2022, en el marco de la Competencia Nacional Abierta Street Workout Duals Battles (SWDB). La finalidad de este Programa es propiciar un espacio de atención antes, durante y después de cada evento, en el cual participe el atleta. Es lograr que los atletas participen en las exhibiciones, versus y competencias sin ningún tipo de lesiones. En esta oportunidad contamos con Emilio Coronado y Andrea Torres como Fisioterapeutas, quienes brindaron una excelente atención a los atletas.

The Athlete Care Program at SWC began in May 2022, within the framework of the Competition National Open Street Workout Duals Battles (SWDB). The purpose of this Program is to provide a space for attention before, during and after each event in which the athlete participates. It is to ensure that athletes participate in exhibitions, versus and competitions without any type of injury. ***Athlete Care***

En esta jornada fueron atendidos 16 atletas, que luego de la valoración funcional, se les brindó atención en tiempo real. De los 16 atletas, la mayoría presentó contracturas musculares post evento debido al exceso de trabajo del músculo. Algunos atletas fueron atendidos con masajes, liberación miofascial, dígitopuncion, electroterapia y aplicación de vendaje neuromuscular. Dependiendo de la valoración, cada atleta fue atendido con una terapia específica. Algunos atletas fueron atendidos con masajes con Pistola de Percusión. A otros atletas se le aplicó Electroterapia y Liberación miofascial. Cabe destacar que 5 atletas fueron atendidos con vendaje neuromuscular como método de tratamiento preventivo a lesiones por exceso de tensión. El Fisioterapeuta llevó a cabo la terapia tomando en cuenta la zona afectada. La atención de los atletas en su mayoría fue para relajar musculatura del tren superior por alguna contractura o lesión post evento. En esta oportunidad contamos con un equipo de electroterapia y una pistola de percusión, propiedad del Fisioterapeuta. En esta ocasión todas las terapias utilizadas tenían como objeto brindar bienestar al atleta. Terapias aplicadas en los músculos del tren superior. Estos músculos corresponden a la zona abdominal, área lumbar, zona pectoral, brazos y hombros. La Terapia por Percusión tiene como objeto disminuir el dolor, aumentar el flujo sanguíneo y lograr la movilidad de la zona afectada. Estas terapias fueron aplicadas de acuerdo a los requerimientos de cada atleta. Todos los atletas fueron atendidos en tiempo real.

On this occasion we have electrotherapy equipment and a percussion gun, property of the Physiotherapist. On this occasion, all the therapies used were aimed at providing well-being to the athlete. Therapies applied to the muscles of the upper body. These muscles correspond to the abdominal area, lower back area, pectoral area, arms and shoulders. Percussion Therapy aims to reduce pain, increase blood flow and achieve mobility in the affected area . These therapies were applied according to the requirements of each athlete. All athletes were assisted in real time.
