Steemminna is a charity group birthed out of concern by 9 young steemians to help alleviate poverty in the northern region of Nigeria. The northern region of Nigeria has the highest rate of poverty in Nigeria despite producing the highest number of past and present leaders of the nation and this can be traced to the selfish interest of such past leaders, so we look forward to being a source of help and means of reducing the poverty rate in the region.

Some of the team members of steemminna have benefited from the love shared on the steem platform and we intend to extend that love to the less privileged in the society.

@mickyscofield who is one of the team members of steemminna won a contest in April and he sponsored the team's visit to an orphanage home here in the Niger State of Nigeria. The little boy in one of the pictures is a three-year-old boy who is a cripple in the orphanage. The steemminna team hopes to give him some medical attention when the needed funds come in.

Also, we got a sponsor from Nigeria who sponsored our visit to a primary school here in Niger state and our mission was to pick out 20 of the school children who don't have school uniforms or their uniforms had gone bad and a few without sandals. We went with a tailor who took measurements of the 20 children. The details of that visit can be found on the steemminna account through this link

Two weeks later, the tailor was done with his work and the distribution was done. The joy of the children and the teachers knew no bounds as they showered prayers of on the steemminna team. Details of that second visit can be found through this link

OUR TARGET AND FUTURE PLANS

We are looking forward to a time we would register @steemminna as a Non-governmental organization in Nigeria under the Corporate Affairs Commission(CAC), having an office and all the needed tools to help us achieve our objectives.

So we are making an appeal of $606 of which $106 would be used for our visit to an orphanage home while $500 will be used for forex trading by one of the team members who is into cryptocurrency trading and forex trading. He bought the current phone he is using in February through crypto trading and has been into forex trading for a while now but limited by funds.

The $500 which we will put into Forex trading will be giving us a minimum of $20 to $50 dollars a week at minimum risk making use of good money management of not spending more than $1-2 on a single trade and with that, we can sponsor other of our visits and carry out our rest objectives as stated in our introductory article.
