La verdad es que a menudo las grandes historias se escriben a partir de vivencias de la vida real. Vivencias personales que los escritores queremos contar. Yo lo he hecho, es así como surgió uno de mis libros más apreciados por mí y espero que por alguien más, libro que revela mis vivencias en una época muy dura de mi vida. Mi adolescencia. Aun así si les aseguro que esto de escribir nuestras vivencias sucede más frecuentemente de lo que pensamos. Los autores plasmamos nuestra voz basándonos en algún suceso o en el diario vivir y lo aderezamos con un poco de ficción en algunos casos.

Agnes Grey de Anne Brontë es una de esas historias. De hecho, este es uno de mis libros predilectos. Agnes Grey’s fue escrita en 1847 y hoy por hoy sigue siendo un tesoro literario. Es un libro que se nutre de las vivencias de su autora, para contarnos el día a día de una institutriz empobrecida con pocas esperanzas de llegar a encontrar algo mejor en su vida. Aunque para ella la labor de ser institutriz era un empleo digno y hasta majestuoso que muy pocos para la época tendrían lo necesario para ejercer.

Algo que amo de este libro es su hermosa historia de amor implícita. No sabrás lo que siente Agnes por un caballero que aparece en escena, esto poco a poco se irá revelando y el final será totalmente … Ah, vaya, no deseo hacer espóiler queridos lectores.
