En busca de un restaurante con concepto italiano, encontré hace un par de semanas Capri Ristorante. Éste nuevo restaurante se encuentra en la planta baja del Centro Comercial Ciudad Paris, ubicado en la Avenida Los Leones, entre Avenida Bolívar y Avenida Los Comuneros del este de la Ciudad de Barquisimeto. Es un nuevo establecimiento con un concepto espectacular y atractivo. # Mi primera impresión al llegar, luego de efectuar algunos trámites en el Centro Comercial Sambil, fue que, en la recepción, no estaban muy atentos a las personas que entraban. Yo pasé como si nada, junto a mi hermano al interior del restaurante. Me impresionó el color azul, me recordó a la icónica ciudad de Santorini. # ¿Puede ir todo el mundo? Mi percepción es sí. Sin embargo, es un lugar frecuentado por la clase media de la ciudad de Barquisimeto. La comida posee un alto precio, pero lo vale. Cuando digo que lo vale es por la calidad de servicio, la atención, las bebidas y la comida. Ella me preguntó qué mesa buscábamos. Evidentemente, era una para dos. Mi hermano menor y yo. Al fin y al cabo, ella nos redirigió a otro mesero que nos atendió muy amablemente en una mesa para cuatro personas. #

# Aspecto importante: las mesas son muy pequeñas. Yo mido más de 1.87 cm, por ende, me gusta el espacio, y cuando se trata de comer, me gusta hacerlo cómodamente. Por eso, nos quedamos en ésa mesa que era más espaciosa. # En la entrada destacaban unos asientos de color azul con un grabado del Banco Bancamiga, detrás de ellos. No sé por qué estaba allí, en fin, no quise centrar ése aspecto en la fotografía. Otra característica llamativa es que desde lejos se visualiza el logo de Capri Ristorante. Éste plato, según el menú, costaba 14 USDT, HBD o dólares americanos. # Como plato principal me dejé llevar por lo que pidió mi hermano. Algo que no suele ocurrir. Ambos ordenamos como plato principal Ravioli Verdi. ¿Buena opción? Lo cuento más adelante. Mi hermano también es barman, y sabe de alcohol. La bebida que nos ofrecieron inicialmente, era con estos ingredientes (no recuerdo el nombre). El mesero nuevamente se disculpó con nosotros debido a que se les culminó la hierbabuena. Me gusto la sinceridad, pero sobre todo la cordialidad y la palabra disculpa. Destaco ese aspecto. # El mesero nos recomendó pedir un cóctel llamado Bahia di Ravello. No presté mucha atención en la explicación de la bebida. En ése momento me tocó atender a alguien telefónicamente. En razón de esto, sólo explicaré el sabor más adelante. El precio de la Bahia di Ravello era de 5 USDT, HBD o dólares americanos. #

# El plato de entrada tardó aproximadamente 10 minutos para ser servido. Antes de esto el mesero nos sirvió en nuestra mesa unas rodajas de pan con una especie de salsa a base de aceite de oliva, orégano y algún tipo de vinagre. Esto fue por cortesía de la casa. # Inmediatamente, que el mesero colocó las rodajas de pan, sirvió los dos platos de entrada; es decir, los dos Carpaccio de Lomito. Evidentemente, pedí ambos. En ése momento me apené un poco porque alguien me había llamado nuevamente. # El Carpaccio de Lomito venía acompañado de Láminas de Lomito; éstas se encontraban decoradas en la base de todo el plato. Además, tenía rúgula, tomates secos, grisin y unas delicadas láminas de parmesano. Tengo que ser totalmente preciso, éste platillo fue delicioso. La sutileza de la decoración y el maravilloso sabor fue algo que te llevaba a sentir la pasión con la que fue elaborado. #

# ¿Bueno o malo? El Ravioli estaba hecho con sutileza, la decoración del plato fue elegante y potencial. En términos generales, se veía apetitoso y llamativo. # Lo que no me gustó del Ravioli Verdi fue el sabor de la salsa blanca. Se sentía mucho el gustillo a harina. Ése aspecto hacía que el paladar se empalagara, pero fue un detalle mínimo que desequilibró el sabor del plato.
